Admissions

Families interested in applying for admission to The Academy at MSU must complete an Admissions Application Form. The application has a section for a parent to fill out, the student, and then there are 2 essays that must be written.

In addition to the application the parent must complete a Student Record Release Form to request transcripts from the school their child currently attends. A letter of recommendation from a Math and English teacher must also be submitted. Once all of the paperwork has been received, the student will have an interview with the Dean. If the student meets all of the admission criteria they will be receive a letter of acceptance.

•Students must be motivated to work
•Students must be above a C average at their current school

Affording MSU Academy
The cost of tuition for your child to attend The Academy varies and is based on family income. Monthly payments are arranged with the Dean of the Academy prior to student acceptance. All student accounts must be paid in full at the end of each semester in order to register for classes. Sponsorships are available.
